Introduction

Shipping Integrator is a development library tailored to working with various shipping carriers and postage providers. Integrated API's include:

  • Canada Post
  • FedEx
  • UPS
  • USPS
    • Endicia
    • Stamps.com

Some of these API's allow postage to be purchased directly from the carrier. These API's are Canada Post, FedEx, and UPS. USPS does not allow direct purchase of postage through their API. Instead postage must be purchased through either Endicia or Stamps.com.

There are many features available in these API's. Support for some features varies depending on the specific API, but in general offered features include:

  • Purchasing postage
  • Generating a label
  • Scheduling pickups
  • Rate shopping
  • Tracking packages
  • Address verification
  • And more...

While Shipping Integrator makes working with these API's significantly easier than working with them directly they are still a bit involved. As such there is a specific article for each of the API's mentioned above, linked below.
