SecureBlackbox 16: Can I use SSL/TLS without Certificates?

Note: This article applies only to SecureBlackbox Legacy. For future development please consider using the latest version.

The SSL/TLS protocol standards enable you to use X.509 certificates, OpenPGP keys, symmetric keys (preshared keys and PSK), and passwords (SRP). SecureBlackbox supports all of the above schemes in both client-side and server-side components. Note that most other implementations don't support OpenPGP and many don't support PSK and SRP.
