FTP: Handling Command Not Recognized Errors
FTP servers are generally configured to support a specific set of commands based on their implementation and security settings. When a command is sent that is not supported or recognized, the server may respond with an error, which usually occurs because:
- The server does not support a particular command, or
- Support for that command is disabled on the server.
To diagnose the issue, you can use the PITrail event to see exactly what commands the component sent to the server. This helps identify which command caused the server to respond with an error.
