Type 8 Packets in ICMPPort
The ICMPPort component can be used to receive ICMP packets on Windows systems, except for Type 8 (echo request) packets. This is due to limitations in the Windows networking stack, where Winsock blocks ICMP Type 8 packets from being delivered to user applications while allowing other ICMP packet types to pass through.
