Active Directory Support in LDAP Components

The LDAP component supports Active Directory as well as other directory servers such as OpenLDAP, Novell, and Sun. It is compatible with standard LDAP implementations and can be used to query and manage directory data across these platforms.

When working with Active Directory, an explicit Bind operation is required before performing a Search. Ensure that the Bind method is called successfully to authenticate before issuing any search requests.
