SharePoint Code Example: Using the SharePoint Integrator with Microsoft SharePoint Online

This article shows how to configure the components in the SharePoint Integrator to communicate with the Microsoft SharePoint Online service.

Date Entered: 03/29/2011    Last Updated: 04/23/2013

The SharePoint Integrator is capable of easily communicating with http://www.microsoft.com/online/sharepoint-online.aspx.

To configure the component to communicate with Microsoft SharePoint Online simply set the SPOnlineAuth configuration setting of the component to True. The rest of the operations are the same whether you're communicating with SharePoint or SharePoint Online. For instance:

Spsite site = new Spsite();
site.URL = "https://yourdomain.sharepoint.microsoftonline.com";
site.User = "user@yourdomain.microsoftonline.com";
site.Password = "password";
site.Config("SPOnlineAuth=True");
site.ListLibraries();
...
Please refer to the demos included in the toolkit for more examples of how the components can be used to communicate with SharePoint.
